Preparedness, Planning and Economic Security Program
USAID’s Preparedness, Planning and Economic Security program is a multi-year, 19 million dollar program supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program helps municipalities be more resilient to crises and disasters, assists businesses in difficult environments grow and expand into new markets and works with Serbia’s youth to empower them for the future. The program has two components:
The program’s objectives are attained through two program’s components:
Preparedness and Planning component builds a sustainable and systematic approach to local-level disaster management. Economic Security component stimulates the development of the private sector by strengthening the capacity for sustainable economic growth in underdeveloped areas of Serbia. Young people are an integral part of the program’s strategy, which aims to promote youth entrepreneurship, improve business skills of young people in Serbia and increases their participation in the economy.
Preparedness, Planning and Economic Security Program is being implemented by Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI), in cooperation with CHF International and Booz Allen Hamilton.
