Thirty young aspiring entrepreneurs from Senta’s rural communities attended training in modern agricultural production methods and basic business organized during the implementation of the municipal YEAP.  The young entrepreneurs also toured the Novi Sad Agricultural Fair to learn more about best practices in modern agriculture.

At the same time, Municipalities of Ruma and Zajecar issued call for proposals to implement their municipal YEAPS. Projects for Ruma target education in business communications, entrepreneurial ethics and how to improve organizational skills. Zajecar’s projects are to focus on creating peer-to-peer coaches to help educate other youth in basic business and entrepreneurial skills. All 11 municipalities participating in PPES’ YEAP activity in 2011 are expected to adopt their respective YEAPs by June.

PPES developed the YEAP activity to strengthen municipal Youth Offices’ ability to reduce youth unemployment.  Eleven municipalities are participating in the YEAP activity in FY 2011. In FY 2010, 12 municipalities completed, adopted and began implementing YEAPs.
