USAID’s PPES donated equipment to the State University in Novi Pazar (SUNP) to help the school build a modern audio-visual laboratory.  Cameras, editing decks, software and other essentials were among the items provided to the University.  The AV Laboratory at SUNP will link the SUNP students with Sandzak’s Association of Textile Producers (ASSTEX) and Regionalna TV to give them an opportunity to have the first real-life work experience by producing marketing and communications material for ASSTEX members and TV shows for Regionalna TV.

As part of its multi-faceted business support strategy, PPES has partnered with Novi Pazar’s two universities to provide more opportunities for work experience and to link students and employers to help reduce youth unemployment. In spring 2010, PPES supported the opening of a Career Counseling Center at the International University of Novi Pazar.
