Presevo, June 2010: New branding solutions developed with PPES support for Presevo-based Fontana Dairy has helped the company substantially increase its South Serbian market share. Economic Security’s marketing technical assistance partner, NS Advertising designed the new visual identify for Fontana`s feta cheese, “Pcinjska Feta” – the company’s number one seller.

The new packaging was introduced in March and produced immediate results:  Fontana dairy is now selling 25 percent of its monthly production to South Serbian stores and green markets, generating monthly sales in excess of $21,000.

Prior to introducing the branding solution, South Serbia accounted for just 5 percent of Fontana’s feta cheese sales.  The company also enjoys great success in the Kosovo market, prior to the new packaging, 95 percent of its feta was sold in Kosovo.
