How we work?
We have identified sixteen different interventions that allow us to meet the objectives of the project. Though we have organized our interventions by beneficiary: business, groups, individuals, local self-governments, and civil society, any beneficiary may participate in any of the interventions as long as it accomplishes the goals of the project. For example, individual businesses as well as cooperative representatives may benefit from going to trade fairs. It is impossible to prescribe a "plug and play" list of interventions in the field of economic development. Some will work better than others in different areas. Therefore, from our list of sixteen, we choose to emphasize or deemphasize interventions from municipality to municipality based on our knowledge of the local environment and the needs we have identified. Presevo has different needs than Kraljevo, and we tailor our approach accordingly. By articulating the interventions below, we restrict the universe of activities we undertake, enabling us to be strategic and specific.

How we focus our work?
In order to maximize the impact of project resources, our economic interventions are focused in two ways. The first filter, as it enables more rapid private sector development, is on the subsectors with the highest potential to create employment and grow the economy within each municipality. The second area of focus is on vulnerable groups, which is the population most in need of economic security. (Vulnerable Group Definition, from Task Order: “Groups or individuals susceptible to mobilization for political agitation and/or violence and those likely to be the victims of such violence”)
