ISO 9001 certification identifies a company as employing modern business methods, transparent accounting, quality human resource management and follow high managerial standards. It also is a necessary requirement for exporting goods to many countries around the world. It is a necessary tool for Serbian businesses to generate sales, expand, open new jobs and contribute to the economic development of their communities.

USAID support to Sandzak companies aspiring to receive ISO 9001 standard will be delivered in two steps: 1) company management received training to upgrade their managerial skills, and 2) USAID provides technical assistance to guide the companies during the certification process and make sure the companies are compliant and in line with specific certification standards.
